Vastra Bank.
Every person has a need of 3 essential commodities in his life; food, clothing and shelter. During visit to different villages it has been found that people in remote areas are in need of proper clothing particularly during winter season. Rural areas of Jharkhand are very prone to malaria. Hence it has been observed that use of mosquito net is very much required to avoid malaria. Keeping in view the above ground reality, SESA established a Vastra Bank (CLOTH BANK) on 5th June 2017 to commemorate the foundation day of the organization. Every year during winter season 10-15 Vastra Bank camps are being organized by the organization in remote villages of Palamu. New and old cloths, blanket, mosquito net, linen etc are being collected from general people from big cities like Ranchi, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore or locally and are being donated to villagers. So far about 60 such camps have been organized and 10000 people have been benefited.
